This curriculum was designed forDCPS 3rd graders and those engaging with DC History. It relies on the updated social studies standards published in 2023. While it was designed for use in DCPS classrooms, it is intended to be used flexibly.

Each mini-unit is written as part of a sequence to be implemented in a social studies or history course. It is also structured such that individual activities can be extracted for classroom use.
